Announcement

Dear CV-S Families and Community Members, 

This evening, I shared with the Board of Education that I will be retiring as Superintendent of the Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School District, effective December 31, 2026.

After 34 years in education and 10 plus years serving as your Superintendent, this was not an easy decision. CV-S has been much more than a place of work for me. I have had the privilege of watching our students learn and grow, working alongside a dedicated faculty and staff, and getting to know so many families and community members.

I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished together over the past decade. Through challenges and successes, our focus has always remained where it belongs, on our students and providing them with the best opportunities possible.

While December 31 will mark the end of my time as Superintendent, there is still important work to be done. I look forward to spending these next several months continuing to move the District forward and helping to ensure a smooth transition for CV-S.

Thank you for the trust, support, and kindness you have shown me throughout my time here. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the students, families, staff, and communities of Cherry Valley-Springfield.

I look forward to making the most of these final months together.
